A very strange dream

I don’t sleep well, as a general rule I have a bad nights sleep much more often than a good one, and it’s not too rare that I have a very bad nights sleep. Last night the bad sleep was due to a dream that I’m going to share with you ‘cos it was very odd and slightly worrying. I was in a building with a friend (although no-one specific) who was concerned about this one room. We went into the room and it felt a little weird and then the friend said a persons name suddenly the lights flickered and these voices could be heard coming from nowhere. The dream went on, we tested a little and tried a few different things and decided the room was possessed and decided to pray. In my dream I was praying and trying to cast out demons and it was half way through this prayer I work up, very suddenly wide awake, strangely I didn’t get back to sleep all that easily and the dream is still playing on my mind, where did that come from?

    Hey

    I don’t call myself Joseph but…

Dreams about a house usually mean they’re about the person whose house it is or about your own life (kitchen represents nurture, living room is family or relationships, study is work etc etc).

Do you know which room of the house it was and whose house?

Do you know the name that was said and are withholding it appropriately or do you not?

I would guess it might be something to do with your relationship with that person and/or with the “friend” who could be a real life human friend or God.

It could be that part of the life of you, the friend or the person named is in a particularly bad place because it is being dominated by someone, something or some malevolent force.

Waking up suddenly is probably what made you remember the dream (we only remember dreams when we wake up during the R.E.M. cycle of sleep and thye often only stick in the mind if they’re notably odd or disturbing.

I think a good response would be prayer for all those involved. An exploration of some “rooms” of your life or their life where there might be an issue and perhaps as there was a “friend” in the dream, praying WITH someone about it rather than on your own would also be a plan.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Sarah
Not exactly sure who the friend was, possibly someone I haven’t seen for a number of years but not definite. As for the building not a specific place, at least not one I’ve ever been to, it seamed to be some kind of slightly run down conference centre type building but couldn’t say any more than that.
